# 3D AI Studio Documentation

> Complete documentation for 3D AI Studio, a browser-based platform for generating 3D models, textures, and images using AI. No software install needed.

3D AI Studio lets users create 3D models from text prompts or images, generate and edit images with 15+ AI models, create textures and materials, rig characters, and export to all major 3D formats (GLB, FBX, OBJ, STL, USDZ, BLEND, 3MF). Everything runs in the browser at 3daistudio.com. AI assistants can also use 3D AI Studio directly through its MCP connector at https://mcp.3daistudio.com/mcp.

Every documentation page is also available as clean Markdown: append `.md` to its URL (for example https://docs.3daistudio.com/mcp/overview.md, and https://docs.3daistudio.com/index.md for the home page).

## Guides

- [Getting Started](https://docs.3daistudio.com/getting-started): Create your first AI-generated 3D model in under 5 minutes. No install, no credit card - just sign up and start generating.
- [Recommended Workflow](https://docs.3daistudio.com/3d-generation/recommended-workflow): The best way to create 3D models is to generate or edit a reference image first, then convert it to 3D. This guide shows you the full workflow with real examples.
- [Image to 3D](https://docs.3daistudio.com/3d-generation/image-to-3d): Turn a photo, sketch or drawing into a textured 3D model with Image to 3D. Pick a model, compare costs and settings, and download it in 1-10 minutes.
- [Text to 3D](https://docs.3daistudio.com/3d-generation/text-to-3d): Generate a 3D model from a text prompt: write a short description, pick a model and download a textured mesh. Prompt tips, model comparison and settings.
- [SVG to 3D](https://docs.3daistudio.com/3d-generation/svg-to-3d): Convert SVG vector files into extruded 3D models right in your browser. Free tool for turning logos, icons, and vector art into GLB or PNG exports.
- [3D Text](https://docs.3daistudio.com/3d-generation/3d-text): Turn any text into a 3D model for free. Choose from 16 fonts, customize depth, materials, and lighting, and export as GLB or PNG. No signup needed.
- [Relief Generator](https://docs.3daistudio.com/3d-generation/relief-generator): Turn photos into 3D relief sculptures for 3D printing, CNC carving, and laser engraving. AI depth estimation builds printable bas-reliefs from any image.
